Every once in a while argentine tango witnesses the birth of an authentic star couple who so seamlessly and naturally combine virtuosity, creativity and quintessential tango that they make you believe in the divine nature of talent. Such a star couple was born in 2011 when Carlos and Noelia, each one already a renown dancer, combined their artistic skills to form what is probably one of the most successful and beloved tango couples in the world today. And we are absolutely thrilled to have them as maestros of our festival!
ARIADNA NAVEIRA & FERNANDO SANCHEZ
Few young couples from Argentina have had such an impact on the development of tango as Ariadna and Fernando. They are widely celebrated for the fresh and innovative way in which they combine the essential tools of dancing tango with the inherent feel of the embrace. Their harmonious style blends and reconciles the modern views on Tango with its eternal essence. Since 2009 they have actively traveled the world, making their mark, breaking ground for a dance centered around the partner and spreading their love of Tango.

LEANDRO PALOU & MARIA TSIATSIANI
Leandro and Maria are renowned professional Tango teachers and performers, who run a major Tango academy in London and regularly tour throughout Europe for workshops, festivals and shows. Their long list of credentials include performing in London’s West End, in the famous TV show Strictly Come Dancing as well as in shows and festivals in Buenos Aires. Leandro is undoubtedly one the top Tango dancers in the world today. With a career of over twenty years of uninterrupted activity, both as a teacher and as a performer, he is privileged to have partnered with some of the best dancers in modern history of Tango, among which the late Andrea Missé and the legendary Alejandra Mantiñan. His teaching is clear and precise, thanks to his in-depth knowledge of the dance and the physiognomy of the human body. His partner Maria is a passionate dancer, teacher and choreographer with impressive and very long dance record.
